Srikanth Bolla’s career started when he was studying at MIT where he used to do community service. Srikanth did a 3 months internship program at Tushar Hiranandani General Electric India Innovation Centre, Hyderabad in 2010. After that in 2011 he did another 3 months internship at Infosys LTD where he learned in detail about team building.

Srikanth’s educational journey was filled with its own set of hardships and challenges. Being a blind child, it was not very easy for him to keep up with the studies that other kids did. To make his early education easy for him, Srikanth’s parents got him admission in Devnar School for the Blind, Hyderabad which was a school for kids that are blind. He kept his focus on his studies and was able to achieve 90% marks in his 10th class exams. After that he wanted to do his studies after 10th in Science.
But the problem was that he was not allowed to pursue his studies further. He filed a case for that and after a detailed hearing he won the case and was able to pursue his studies in science. He did his 11th and 12th class studies from the Royal Junior College, Hyderabad. To keep up with the studies, he translated all his study material to audiobooks.
This helped to make his study process really easy. He studied day and night and proved everyone who doubted him by scoring 98% in his 12th class exams. After that he went to gain various skills like learning braille, learning English language, and how to use a computer. Then he started to prepare for IIT but was not able to clear the exam and was also denied admission due to his disability.
But he did not lose his hope there and was able to be the first ever visually-impaired student who was outside of the United States Of America to study Management Science at the Sloan School of Management of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At MIT he was studying and doing research at Sinha Lab. But other than that he also played sports like Baseball and Archery.
